MeanBuy Shipping Policy

At MeanBuy, we believe that our service continues beyond delivery, and perpetuates until you have total satisfaction after your purchase. Hence, we ensure a safe and on-time delivery of the product. We have partnered with the most reliable courier service providers who excel in time management and quality provided by their services.

Our Shipping Policy includes the following:

  1. Shipping of orders across India are carried out by the most reliable shipping partners, with complete online tracking of all packages.
  2. We strive to ship most of our products at no cost to you. However, there may be a few products which require a minimal shipping cost.
  3. Products being purchased will be delivered to you as per the shipping schedule given to you while placing the order. Our unique ‘Price Meter’ will give you a quick reference on when the product is expected to be delivered to you.
  4. We’ll do our best to deliver your products to you on schedule and will ensure that you are updated via SMS and Email about the dispatch, transit status, and delivery of the products.
  5. There may be cases wherein the shipping may be delayed by 2 to 6 business days, depending on various factors including, but not limited to, transport, weather conditions and possible custom clearances required for selected deliveries. Customers will be intimated about any such delays.
  6. Customers will be held liable for any misinterpretation of billing or delivery address. All shipping costs of non-delivery of products due to wrong delivery will be borne by the customer.

Cancellation and Return Policy

Cancellation before shipment:

If the order of the item(s) that you want to cancel have not been shipped yet, you can write to our custom support team on support@meanbuy.in, call us on +91 7093427583 or send us a WhatsApp message on the same number, making sure to include all order details.

In such cases, the cancellation request will be reviewed against acceptable policy and the order will be cancelled. Post cancellation, the money will be refunded to you within 2-48 hours to your bank account/credit card account.

Cancellation post shipment:

If you wish to cancel an order that has been shipped but has not yet been delivered, please get in touch with our Customer Support team on support@meanbuy.in.

  • In case you have cancelled an order which has already been handed over to the courier company from our end, they may still attempt delivery even after your cancellation request has been approved by us. Please do not accept the delivery of the order.
  • Once we receive the refused product(s) and verify its packaging condition, your refund will be processed within 24-48 business hours to your bank account/credit card account.

How will I get refunded for the cancelled orders and how long will this process take?

In case of cancellation before shipment, we will process the refund within 24-48 business hours after receiving the cancellation request.

In case of cancellation once the shipment has already been dispatched or if it is being returned, we process the refund once the products have been received and verified by our partner vendor.

  • For payments done through credit/debit cards or net banking, the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made, within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products. It may take 2-3 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account.
  • For cash on delivery transactions, we will initiate a bank transfer against the refund amount against the billing details shared by you. This process will be completed within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products, and an email with your bank details. It will take an additional 2-3 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
  • In addition, we also provide the hassle-free option of refund through MeanBuy coupons, which can be used during future purchases on our website.

What if I used discount vouchers or loyalty points to pay for an order that I have now canceled?

Discount vouchers are intended for one-time use only and shall be treated as ‘used’ even if you cancel the order.

If you had redeemed loyalty points for an order, the same will be credited back to your account in case of a cancellation.

Exchanges, Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item purchased on MeanBuy?

MeanBuy offers its customers an ‘Easy return policy’, wherein you can raise a return/exchange request of a product within 5 days of its delivery. We also accept partial returns wherein you can raise a return request for one or all products in your order.

  • Step 1: Contact our customer support team via email (support@meanbuy.in) within 5 business days of receiving the order.
  • Step 2: Provide us with your order ID details an your request to return/replace/refund your order. Kindly email an image of the product and the invoice for our reference.
  • Step 3: We will pick up the products within 2-4 business days. The refund or replacement process will be initiated only if the products are received by us in their original packaging with their seals, labels and barcodes intact.

Note: In case of replacement, the order is subject to the availability of stock. In cases where a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount. Kindle refer to the next question for exclusions to refunds.

Which are the items that cannot be returned/exchanged?

Returns will not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Product is damaged due to misuse/overuse
  • Returned without original packaging, including price tags, labels, original packaging, freebies and other accessories or if original packaging is damaged.
  • Serial number is tampered
  • Defective products that are covered under Seller/Manufacturer’s warranty
  • Product is used or altered
  • If request is initiated after 5 business days of order delivery
  • Free product provided by brand

Categories not eligible for return:

  • Customized products cannot be returned
  • Personal care products/appliances cannot be returned due to hygiene issues
  • Personal use products such as hosiery, shoes, etc. cannot be returned

I have received a damaged or defective item/wrong product in my order. How should I proceed?

Our shipments go through rigorous quality checks before they leave our partner warehouses. However, in the rare case that your product is damaged during shipment or transit, you can request for a replacement or cancellation and refund.

If you have received an item in a damaged/defective condition, or have been sent a wrong product, you can follow a few simple steps to initiate your return/refund within 5 days of receiving the order:

  • Step 1: Contact our customer support team via email (support@meanbuy.in) within 5 business days of receiving the order.
  • Step 2: Provide us with your order ID details and your request to return/replace/refund the defective/wrong items in your order. Kindly share an image of the product and the invoice for our reference.
  • Step 3: We will pick up the products within 2-4 business days. The refund or replacement will be initiated only if the products are received by us in their original packaging with their seals, labels and barcodes intact.

Note: If it is a case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.

Do I have to return the free gift when I return a product?

Yes. The free gift is included as a part of the item ordered, and needs to be returned along with the product originally delivered.

Can I return part of my order?

Yes. A return can be created at item level, and if you have ordered multiple items, you can initiate a return/replacement/refund for any individual item. However, any product being returned needs to be retuned in full, including all components, as well as any complimentary gifts or products which came along with it.
